Colombo
Sri Lanka

Well, hello everyone once again. I'm sorry it has been so long since our last update, but Pat and I have been on the road for the past couple of weeks and we have had only limited access to internet facilities.

First of all, I'm very happy to report that Grant and Barbara have settled into Jambiani with no major glitches and my last e-mail from Grant said that all was well. Barbara has started to take on patients and Grant is continuing to deliver quality Chiropractic care to our friends at the Wellness Center. Grant and Barbara brought a number of items for the clinic but most impressive were the two new massage tables that had been donated by a local supplier on Vancouver Island. We will post the details of all of those who have supplied and sent donated items with Grant and Barbara when we have all of that information in hand.

Unfortunately, our laptop computer is on the blink so I'm not able to give you as much information at this moment about our trip to India. I will be providing a very detailed description of our time in Bangalore in the very near future. Briefly, we were guests at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Bangalore and were privileged to see first hand, the amazing work they are doing there to feed school children in the Bangalore area. Presently the Akshaya Patra Foundation feeds over 50,000 school children per day as part of their mid-day meal program and they are hoping to increase this to 100,000 children by November. To say the least, Pat and I were absolutely amazed at the scope of this project and with the incredible heart and integrity of the people who are running this. As I said, I'll be filling you in on all the details of this work when I can. You can read first hand about this remarkable service to humanity on their website Akshaya Patra Foundation.

Pat and I will be spending a couple of weeks here in Sri Lanka before we head out for Australia. I'm hoping to forward an update from Grant and Barbara before we leave with their thoughts and impressions.

We are well as we hope you all are and we look forward to coming back with a more detailed update within the next two weeks.

Please take care of one another and until the next time, much love to you all from Pat and I.
