Diary - Thursday, December 17, 2009An undersea power cable has blown up in Zanzibar, leaving the island without power. They are expecting it to be repaired in a couple of weeks. We do have occasional access to the Internet at the Blue Oyster Hotel when their generator is switched on, however, our connection with the rest of the world will be limited until the repairs have been made.
